When you first begin personal training with project fitness you will be assessed according to your current level of fitness. Your flexibility and posture will also be examined to unearth any problems that may effect your progress. This is an important part of the process because without a highly tailored program you might as well be using a commercial gym routine.

Here at Project Fitness we pride ourselves on delivering challenging workout sessions that are also fun. Many of our clients visit us explaining that they are fed up with the monotony of their current fitness program (or trainer!). Let’s be honest, spending hours on cardio machines is utterly boring! and a considerable amount of time its actually pretty ineffective. Our promise to you is that you’ll never spend more than 10 minutes on a cardio machine unless it is essential for your training goals or injury rehabilitation.

Many clients ask what kind of results they should expect from our personal training sessions. This is a difficult question to answer because everyone is different, everyone’s body responds in different ways and of course everyone has their own idea of what following our nutritional guidelines actually constitutes. On average new clients report a 6 lbs loss of weight in their first month with us. Whilst this may not seem like extreme weight loss its worth considering exactly where this weight comes from. We do not in any way advise dieting so our weight loss typically comes from true body fat rather than a combination of muscle and water, which can be the case when using extreme dieting, starvation methods  or over training. In addition to fat loss, clients report raised energy levels, a  heightened sense of well being and greater muscle tone.
